In Mexico, it is still used to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedirect.com\/science\/article\/pii\/S0921800922002063\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reforest areas<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> taken over by grazing.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It wasn\u2019t until the 1940s that silvopasture became a formalized practice recognized by institutions across North America. Today, numerous agricultural, governmental, and academic bodies promote silvopasture as a <strong>viable mode of animal husbandry and farming<\/strong>.
